Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and dependable Caregiver to provide daily assistance and companionship to an elderly family member in a private home in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will support daily living activities, encourage independence, and promote comfort and dignity in a respectful home environment.

Main Duties
Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Prepare nutritious meals, including traditional Chinese dishes
Provide companionship and emotional support to the senior
Support mobility and light physical exercises
Administer medications as directed
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands related to the senior’s care
Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the family
Requirements
Completion of secondary school
Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant experience as a caregiver (paid or volunteer)
English communication skills required; knowledge of Mandarin is an asset to support the senior’s communication needs
Experience preparing Chinese cuisine an asset
Physically able to assist with mobility and light household duties
Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
Employment Conditions
Location: Private home, Ottawa, Ontario
Accommodation: Private room available at no charge, if required (not a condition of employment)
Hours: Full-time, 30–40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $28/hr
