Auxiliary Haul Truck Operator Instructor

Duties: College of the Rockies is hiring a Haul Truck Operator Instructor to deliver the Haul Truck Operator Program using our Pro-3 Immersive Haul Truck Simulators.

Qualifications: Five to Ten year experience as a haul truck or equipment operator (Komatsu 830E & 930E, and Caterpillar 797 & 793 haul trucks) within a surface coal mining and/or oil sands environment. Experience operating heavy equipment is also an asset. Strong computer proficiency, particularly with windows-based programs. Strong communication skills including listening, public speaking and providing feedback. Adult teaching experience and understanding of adult learning styles. Experience training new haul truck or heavy equipment operators using the Immersive Pro-3 Simulators will be deemed an asset.

Salary: $50.00 an hour
