McCain Foods Grand Falls is looking for our next Production Management Trainee!

We are looking for well-rounded, driven, highly analytical problem solvers with a track record of achieving results, who also have the passion to become future leaders at McCain. The Production Management Trainee (PMT) program provides high potential, talented college or university graduates with an opportunity to join the McCain team and establish a strong foundation in understanding the business with the purpose of developing into future leaders of McCain Foods.

PMT trainees will participate in a two-year Manufacturing Management development program, in which the trainee will complete formal, self-guided, and applied learning experiences by partnering with senior, skilled subject matter experts in our manufacturing operations and plant teams. PMT trainees are provided cross-functional experience from “field to fork” within the product life cycle to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process.

WHAT QUALITIES ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN CANDIDATES?

• 
  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Science or Business, received within the last 3 years
• Passion for leading, training and influencing others
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Sound fact based decision making and problem solving skills with a focus on delivering results and resolving day to day operational challenges
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and successfully lead projects/work teams
• Adaptable and flexible team player who is a champion of change
• Ability to work rotating shifts as required
• Willing to relocate to other manufacturing operations with our network for future career opportunities
• Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is an asset
