DENS N DENTE INC. is hiring a highly qualified and trustworthy accounting bookkeeper for a full-time permanent position.
The company is expanding its operations, and we are looking for an experienced Accounting bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate must be organized,
efficient, and have leadership potential and strong communication skills. We need a bookkeeper with previous experience and skills in handling Accounts Payable
and Accounts Receivable, managing Cash Flow for multiple business accounts, and performing bank reconciliations. Our company's entire operations run within
Oracle’s NetSuite, so we require proficiency in using this software, as well as other finance software, such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI, including
VBA. Constant interactions with Directors and Bankers are part of the job, and excellent oral and written communication in English is mandatory. Communicating
fluently in Portuguese and/or Spanish is an asset.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Work with our accountant and team.
•Provide statistical, financial and accounting reports.
•Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
•Maintain the financial health of the organization and plan and control budget and expenditures
•Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plan.
•Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
•Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
•Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
•Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
Requirements:
•Relevant experience in Finance is required.
•Proficient in handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
•Skilled in bank reconciliations.
•Experience in managing Cash Flow for multiple business accounts.
•Understanding of the company's ecosystem, including Dental Practices, Dental Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing.
•Advanced proficiency in finance software, such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI, including VBA.
•Proficiency in Oracle’s NetSuite is required.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with experience interacting with Directors and Bankers, including presenting dashboards and results to the CEO and
Directors and representing the company as needed.
•Oral and written fluency in English.
•Ability to communicate in Portuguese and/or Spanish is an asset.

Experience:
•Corporate finance: 5 years experience as an accounting/bookkeeper; minimum of 2 years experience in Canadian private companies (required)
• Prior experience in a Controller or Financial Administration role is an asset, as the position is viewed as a natural progression within our company.
