Nanny

We're looking for a nanny available to work in our home in Mississauga, Ontario. I hope to connect with a passionate, exceptional person with availability from 7am to 1pm Monday to Friday (i.e. 30 hours per week) to look after our 3, 7 and 11 year-old children before school.

Services And Training:
Supervise and care for three children; Bathe, dress and feed children; Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and perform other housekeeping duties; Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Instruct children in personal hygiene; Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings; Take children to and from school and appointments and extra-curricular activities; May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
Minimum education requirement is a high-school certificate and CPR training. The candidate must be able to communicate well in English.

There will be some housekeeping daily, as well as kitchen chores. Being able to cook one or two nutritious vegan dinners each week would be an asset. It is an asset if you have a drivers license but public transportation is available. The ideal candidate would be able to instill a love of learning in our children, and be able to encourage creativity and confidence. Educational achievements above a high-school diploma would be considered an asset. 

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.

The hourly wage for this position is $17 to $22 (commensurate with experience).

We can be flexible for the right candidate. Ideally we would like to have someone start by November 1, 2024.
