Position: Assistant Manager (NOC 60030 – Restaurant and Food Service Managers)
Job Location: 135 Kingston Road East, Ajax, Ontario, L1S 7J4, Canada
Job Duties include the following:
- Assist in leading a team of up to 120 full-time as well as part-time team members.
- Work cooperatively with 6 other full time salary managers as well as 8 part-time managers
- Analyse and trouble-shoot problems with Delivery partners; mobile-orders, kiosks
- Work with technology Help Desk located outside Canada to solve technology issues;
- Communicate pre and post shift to transition management issues to oncoming managers
- Trouble-shoot breakdowns in restaurant equipment
- Serve and manage escalations with thousands of customers each a every day
- Manage daily incoming revenues and ensure the safety, accuracy, and banking obligations
- Draft daily crew and management schedules,
- Order raw products
- Manage Kitchen in order to provided high quality food products.
- Manage restaurant cleanliness to ensure restaurant is constantly clean and appealing to guests
- Ensure highest standards of QSC (Quality, Service and Cleanliness) to comply with national and international standards of Franchisor
REQUIREMENTS: Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management. 24 months of work experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
The successful candidate needs to possess the following qualities:
- Completion of McDonald’s approved Management courses as well as First Aid, Health + Safety course
- Completion of courses in Leadership and /or Management as well as People Skills
- Highly effective at leading people
- Successfully graduated with Leading Great Restaurants
- Goal focused and proven experience in achieving results
- Strong computer and Point of Sale registers skills
- Possesses excellent technology troubleshooting skills
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong finance and money-management skills
- Strong administrative and office management skills
This is full-time (40 hours per week), permanent position, which requires the ability to work various shifts including overnights when scheduled (business operates 24 hours a day, 365 days each year). It is a fast-paced environment which serves over 4000 guests daily. The operating language of the business is English.
WAGE: Salary range from $46000 to $50000 CAD per year.
