accounting bookkeeper

Salary:  $21.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiate)

Terms of Employment:  Permanent employment, Full time 35 to 40 hours per week

Start date:  as soon as possible

Number of Positions:  1

Languages:  English

Education:  College, CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience:  1 year to less than 2 years

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll;
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation;
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements;
• Post journal entriesPrepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports;
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns;
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Experience and Specialization:

• Computer and Technology Knowledge(MS Excel; MS Windows; MS Word)
