Classification: Full Time, Non-Exempt Job Summary Cabin Appearance Supervisor will be leading, directing, and coordinating the efforts of ground, line, and cabin service personnel and the timely delivery of all services for airlines as contracted. Cabin Appearance Supervisor will take accountability for safety, operation standards, policy implementation, client relations, and financial performance for the ramp operations. Job Responsibilities
Establishing shift assignments for both fulltime and part-time employees;
Monitoring and responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all airline ground support equipment
Reporting discrepancies that may exist both functional and mechanical on the ground support equipment;
Coordinating between each assigned carrier to ensure that service for cargo and baggage meet the needs of the carrier to ensure on time schedules are met
Responsible for equipment and ensuring its safe and efficient operating status;
Conferring with other supervisors and managers to coordinate activities with other departments;
Determining manpower requirements; ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair, timely, and consistent manner;
Perform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc.
Helps prepare cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys and lavatories
Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys and lavatories.
Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
Ability to comply with attendance/tardiness standards.
Able to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags
Follows and complies with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier rules and regulations
Ensure crews are being briefed before flights on positions to take and how flight will work

Requirements:
Must possess computer experience (6+ months) and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to navigate electronic devices (computers, fax machines, printers, timeclock, etc).
A proven track record in supervising a business unit.
Experience in operational planning and resource allocation.
A working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues.
Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in aviation.

HR, Logistics Manager and Executive Team Support
Cobalt Construction Inc is seeking a full-time, year-round HR, Logistics Manager and Executive Team Support to join our team here in Whitehorse, Yukon.
This role will report directly to the President and will work closely with our Travel HR Admin and alongside the Operations team.
Ideal candidates will be experienced in full cycle Human Resources, Public Relations and Executive Admin functions.
This is a diverse role that is best suited to someone who does not want to do the exact same thing day in day out.

Knowledge and Skills required:
Experience working in Human Resources, particularly in Private Sector
Working knowledge of laws and regulations
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to prioritize workload and adjust to shifting priorities
Ability to pay attention to detailed information
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Knowledge of construction sites and the manpower needed is an asset but not mandatory – We can teach you everything you need to know about construction!

Resume review, screening and filing - respond to as many applicants as possible to create relationship. Forward on appropriate candidates to teams that are seeking talent; Interview potential candidates for company wide hiring; Take notes and offer critical opinion
Community Relations
Attend community job fairs and project specific job fairs
Maintain company wide labour statistics sheets
Performance conversations with employees both positive and negative; Employee reprimands including verbal and written; Dismissal notice and offboarding conversations
Media content - posters, flyers, banners etc
Manage camp set ups, resource allocation and supplies for several camps around the Yukon
Supporting Senior management with any admin duties including but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling meetings/appointments, drafting and/or editing correspondence, maintain calendars, run errands as requested
